local outreach last Monday

On Monday I (Brent) led a small group of students on a weekly outreach in Denver. We worked with Confluence Ministries, which works in an at-risk neighborhood in downtown Denver.

Our group split up to work with various ministries in the neighborhood. Me and a few others walked throughout the neighborhood, praying for the people, as well as handing out flyers (in both English and Spanish, in this largely Hispanic neighborhood) for a finance education class being held at Confluence on Saturday.

We were glad to be a part of what this ministry is doing to demonstrate God's love by ministering to every aspect of life, even handling finances.
