The Final Word: SBF finale

Our School of Biblical Foundations (SBF) students will be graduating
next Thursday. The summer's flown by! Each of our guys have read
through the whole Bible, and have absolutely eaten up every class
session. We've had some great discussions, and have had a lot of fun.

On Tuesday we will be hosting the SBF finale event, "The Final Word", where each of our students will give a 30 minute talk. David, Martin, and Jon are each amazing communicators with a lot of wisdom, so I'm
looking forward to a fun morning!

First ultrasound

We had an appointment with a midwife today, and got to see our baby
for the first time! That was only after a scary moment, when she
tried to listen to the heartbeat, but couldn't find it! So we went to
the ultrasound room, where we could see the heartbeat, as well as the
little guy doing back flips! It looked like he (it?) was happy to be
alive! We're relieved that he's doing well. Seeing him added another
layer of reality for both of us, that we've got a little life
beginning to invade our world!
