Anna's happy birthday!

Yesterday we celebrated Anna's birthday! We went to Boulder with some
friends, drank some tea at a teahouse (under vines in their outdoor
patio) and ate some sushi at Anna's favorite spot. The Boulder Art
Festival was also happening, so we walked around looking at the many
photographs and art pieces on display throughout Pearl Street. A
great day!

4th of July weekend pics

We had a fun weekend with the SBF. On Friday we went for a hike near Evergreen, CO, and on Saturday we watched the fireworks in Arvada.

Hope your having a great summer!

Last week welcomed a new bunch of young people in for our summer training programs. I am leading the School of Biblical Foundations (SBF), a 3-month Bible study program.

This year the SBF has 3 students (all guys!), a smaller group than usual. We're really excited about the opportunity to get to get know these guys, invest in them and cater the school to their needs and personalities. I think that this will be an important season for each student of growth and preparing for their mission.

We and our band are also busy preparing for a couple worship concerts, on July 24 in Arizona, and Aug 8 in Denver.

Pray for us as we prioritize in what will be a very busy summer for us, that we will be fully invested in each of our commitments and relationships.
